Permanent fillers

Permanent, non-absorbable fillers are usually plastics that cannot be broken down by the body.

Although synthetic fillers have the advantage that they only have to be used once (permanent effect), inflammatory and rejection reactions (in the form of granulomas, for example) can develop after many years, however. Artificial fillers in the face, on the hands or in the decolletage cannot be completely removed.
